Terms of Service
These terms govern enrolment at Learning Loft Institute. Plain language, because a family should be able to read them once and know where they stand.
The free demo class
Every new student is entitled to one free demo class. It requires no payment and no card details, and creates no obligation to enrol.
Fees and billing
Fees are billed monthly in advance. The figure agreed at enrolment does not rise while the student stays continuously enrolled. There is no registration fee and no materials fee.
Cancelling
There is no contract and no cancellation fee. Tell us before your next billing date and the account stops. Fees already paid for a month in progress are not refunded, but the remaining classes in that month stay available.
Rescheduling and missed classes
Classes rescheduled with at least 12 hours' notice are free and unlimited. Classes missed without notice are counted as taught. If a tutor misses a class, it is rescheduled at no charge and an additional class is added.
Recordings and materials
Recordings, worksheets and past-paper packs are provided for the enrolled student's personal use. Please do not redistribute or republish them.
Conduct
We expect courtesy in both directions. We will end an enrolment, with a refund of any unused prepaid fees, if a tutor is subjected to abuse — and we hold our own tutors to exactly the same standard.
What we do not promise
We do not guarantee a specific grade. We guarantee qualified teaching, honest reporting, and that we will tell you if we do not think we are the right fit for your child.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, enrolled families are told by email at least 30 days beforehand.
