FAQ
Questions parents ask
Straight answers about fees, class sizes, timings, exam boards and how the free demo class works. If yours is not here, message us on WhatsApp and we will answer it.
Getting started
Is the demo class really free?
Yes. Learning Loft Institute gives every new student one completely free demo class with no card details, no deposit and no obligation to continue. You meet the tutor, watch a real lesson taught to your child, and decide afterwards.
We schedule it within 24 hours of your request, at a time that suits you. If the fit is not right, we will say so ourselves and suggest a different tutor.
How do I enrol my child?
Enrolling at Learning Loft Institute takes three steps: send us your child's grade and subjects on WhatsApp at +92 340 1417862 or through the booking form, attend the free demo class, then confirm your schedule and pay the first month's fee.
Most families complete all three steps within two days.
Do you teach students outside Pakistan?
Yes. Learning Loft Institute teaches students in 14 countries including the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, the United States, Canada and Australia, with classes scheduled in the student's own time zone.
How long does the free demo class last?
The free demo class at Learning Loft Institute is a full-length lesson — 45 minutes for primary students, 60 minutes for middle and secondary, and 90 minutes for GCSE and SAT preparation. It is a real lesson, not a sales call.
Classes & schedule
Are classes one-to-one or in groups?
Learning Loft Institute offers both. One-to-one classes give the tutor's full attention and a schedule built entirely around the student, while small groups of four to six cost less and suit children who work well alongside peers.
You choose at enrolment and can switch at the start of any month.
How long is each class, and how often do they run?
Classes at Learning Loft Institute run 45 minutes for primary students, 60 to 90 minutes for middle and secondary, and 90 minutes for GCSE and SAT preparation, typically two to six sessions a week depending on the programme.
What are your class timings?
Learning Loft Institute runs classes from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm Pakistan time on weekdays and 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at weekends, and schedules international students in their own local time zone including early-morning slots for the Gulf, the UK and North America.
What happens if my child misses a class?
Missed classes at Learning Loft Institute are rescheduled free of charge when you give at least 12 hours' notice, and every lesson is recorded so a student can rewatch anything they missed.
Are female teachers available?
Yes. Learning Loft Institute has qualified female teachers available for every subject including Quran, and you can request a female tutor at enrolment at no additional cost.
Fees & payment
How much do classes cost?
Learning Loft Institute fees start at PKR 6,000 (about USD 25) a month for the Primary Programme, PKR 9,000 (about USD 35) for Grade 9–10, PKR 12,000 (about USD 45) for GCSE Mathematics and PKR 15,000 (about USD 55) for SAT preparation, billed monthly with no registration fee.
Small-group classes cost less than one-to-one. A second child from the same family receives a 15% discount.
How do I pay, and can I pay from abroad?
Learning Loft Institute accepts bank transfer, JazzCash and Easypaisa within Pakistan, and Wise, international bank transfer or card payment for families abroad. Fees are billed monthly in advance.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Learning Loft Institute bills month to month with no contract and no cancellation fee. Give notice before the next billing date and the account simply stops.
Do you offer a discount for siblings?
Yes. Learning Loft Institute gives a 15% discount on the monthly fee for a second child from the same family, and 20% from the third child onward.
Curriculum & boards
Which curricula and exam boards do you cover?
Learning Loft Institute teaches the Pakistani national curriculum and all provincial boards, Cambridge IGCSE and O Level, Edexcel, AQA and OCR GCSE, the IB Middle Years Programme, and American Common Core — matching each tutor to the student's own board.
Will you follow my child's school syllabus?
Yes. Learning Loft Institute teaches to your child's own school scheme of work and assessment calendar, so what happens in our class supports what happens in theirs rather than running in parallel to it.
What language are classes taught in?
Learning Loft Institute teaches in English by default, and tutors can explain concepts in Urdu, Arabic or a mix where that helps a student understand faster. Quran classes are taught in Arabic with Urdu or English explanation.
Results & reporting
How will I know if my child is improving?
Learning Loft Institute sends parents a written monthly report covering attendance, weekly quiz scores, topics covered and the specific areas still needing work, alongside a short call with the tutor whenever you want one.
Weekly quizzes are marked and returned within 24 hours, so gaps surface early rather than at exam time.
What results do your students get?
Learning Loft Institute students improve by an average of two grade bands within six months, and 78% of families who take the free demo class go on to enrol.
What does concept-based learning actually mean?
At Learning Loft Institute, concept-based learning means a student derives a rule before applying it — deriving the quadratic formula by completing the square, for instance, rather than memorising it. A student who understands where a rule comes from can rebuild it under exam pressure; a student who only memorised it cannot.
Technical
What software do we need for online classes?
Learning Loft Institute classes run on Zoom with a shared interactive whiteboard. You need a laptop, tablet or phone, a stable internet connection of at least 2 Mbps, and headphones. There is nothing to buy.
Are classes recorded?
Yes. Every Learning Loft Institute class is recorded and shared with the parent, so students can rewatch an explanation and parents can see exactly how their child is being taught.
